
Joshua Hawes
Joshua Hawes is a member of the firm’s complex litigation division, where his practice is primarily focused on commercial/business litigation, including both trial and appellate work, in Florida and federal courts. Joshua’s experience includes complex contract disputes, construction and real estate litigation, employment litigation, business tort and trade secret litigation, and commercial landlord-tenant disputes.
Joshua received his law degree from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law. In law school, Joshua was a legal writing and appellate advocacy teaching assistant and served as the Vice President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Joshua also completed a portion of his legal studies at Université de Montpellier in France where he focused on international business law.
Joshua received his Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude from Florida State University. While in college, Joshua served as President of Theta Chi Fraternity, Vice President of Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, and was a member of the Men’s Lacrosse Team.
