Biography

Jorge Callaos is a member of McIntyre’s complex business litigation team. Born in Caracas, Venezuela in a family who immigrated to Orlando, Florida, Jorge moved to Tampa to join the firm in 2022.

Prior to joining McIntyre, Jorge worked for Yarnell & Peterson, P.A., in Naples, Florida, where he focused on construction law, commercial litigation, first-party property insurance litigation, business transactions, intellectual property rights, and appellate proceedings. Jorge advised clients on complex legal issues and helped them prepare and strategize for the future.

Jorge earned his bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Florida. During his tenure at the Levin College of Law, Jorge was a legal extern for the Honorable James R. Klindt in Jacksonville, an intern with the State Attorneys’ Office in Gainesville, and a member of the dean’s list.

In his spare time, Jorge is a self-described bookworm, a practitioner of Mixed Martial Arts, and a fan of Gator sports.
