Michael R. Morris joined the firm in 2021 in the complex litigation department after running his own boutique firm for 17 years. Michael represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial, complex insurance and intellectual property litigation. Working both as a trial attorney and an appellate attorney, Michael has been recognized by his peers with the highest peer-review rating of “AV.” Michael has lectured on copyright liability in venues ranging from Washington, D.C. to Warsaw, Poland.
Michael attended the University of Miami as a journalism/political science major (Class of 1992); for law school (Class of 1995); Ball State University for a masters in speech communications, graduating with a perfect academic record (Class of 2001); and completed his education with an LL.M. in Information Technology and the Law with highest honors from the University of Edinburgh School of Law in 2009.
