Garrett Severson is the newest attorney at the law offices of McIntyre Thanasides Bringgold Elliott Grimaldi & Guito, P.A., who will be bringing his expertise in the fields of civil, commercial, and construction litigation to the firm.

Mr. Severson is joining McIntyre Thanasides as an associate. He received his Juris Doctor with honors from Stetson University College of Law in 2013 and his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Christopher Newport University is a leading regional, liberal arts university, located in Newport News, VA. While at Stetson, Severson was a member of the Innocence Initiative at Stetson Law. As a part of his work, Severson investigated claims of innocence by inmates in Florida prisons. He also educated law students and the public about how to solve issues involving wrongful convictions and prevent them in the future. Severson also performed research to assist the deliberations of the Florida Innocence Commission.

Severson works at the Tampa office, located downtown at 500 E Kennedy Boulevard. He is a member of the complex litigation division.
